What´s Good Sis!— Harvest Edition ✨🙋🏿‍♀️

During this WGS we´ll be celebrating the season of Harvest. Our seasoned monthly community gathering will be focusing on living life unapologetically.

In this nurturing space, we’ll engage in raw and heartfelt conversations about what it means to embrace our true selves and uplift one another. Let’s share our experiences, support our journeys, and cultivate a community where we can thrive without apology.

What to Expect:

  • Empowering discussions on unapologetic living

  • Personal stories and insights from our community

  • Interactive activities to foster connection and creativity

  • A chance to build lasting bonds with fellow sisters and non-binaries

Together, we’ll harvest our strengths, celebrate our identities, and inspire one another as we move towards the darker season of the nordics.

What´s Good sis! #5 Aug 17th
- New Beginnings

The first WGS after summer  as held at Sentralen and not our regulare spot, Forandringshuset. Although we loved it at FH, due to budget cuts, we had to move out (for now). At Sentralen we added a new segment called Sisterhood activation, replaced the sunday- lunch-like hot meal with a chunky and yet refreshing Tea Party, and of course;  lots of laughter, and lovely faces.

"- It's so wonderful to just be, convers, and laugh without needing to explain myself or educate anybody. That's What's up, sis😘."

- One of the sisters in attendance 👯🏾‍♀️

What´s Good sis! #4 May 25th
- Summer kick-off

Saturday, may 25th, we kickstarted the summer together through slowing down, seeing and uplifting each other. We learned a lot about following ones dreams, the difference between being a "People-builder" and "a community-builder" from the amazing Annet Kizza Rønningsbakk. A a certified Health and Weight Management Coach, a community builder, gospel singer, song writer, entrepreneur and a living proof that it truly takes a village.

What´s Good sis! #3 April 20th
- In celebration of Mozambican National Women's Day on April 7th

On this special edition of What´s Good Sis, 20 amazing women and 5 children and youths from our community joined us in welcoming two incredible Mozambican sisters to the forefront: Dilú Matola of Afrocraft.no and Rita José Seco of Rita's fingermat. We honored the legacy of Mozambican shero Josina Muthemba Machel and the countless African women who paved the way for our liberation and empowerment.

We are shining a spotlight on AfroNordic women who are driving positive change in Nordic society, enhancing our collective experience in the region.
