JOIN THE E&D TRIBE
Here are some typical tasks that you might be involved in during Edges and Drinks 2023:

Registration and Check-In: Welcome attendees as they arrive, assist with registration, provide event materials, and ensure a smooth check-in process.

Help Desk:

Answer questions, provide directions, and offer assistance to attendees who may need information about the program, and activities.

Be alert to any safety concerns, help attendees in case of emergencies, and ensure that the event space remains secure.

Encourage networking by facilitating introductions, connecting attendees with similar interests, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for social interaction.

Gather feedback from attendees to help organizers improve future events and understand what attendees enjoyed most.

Ushering and Seating(runner):
-
Help guide attendees to their seats, manage crowd flow, and ensure everyone is comfortable during the show, panel discussion, and performances.

Support our sponsors and partners by helping with setup, distributing materials, managing timekeeping, and addressing any logistical needs.

Children's Activities: Assist in facilitating children's programs, including arts and crafts, storytelling, games, and other engaging activities to keep the younger participants (6-12 yrs)entertained and engaged.

Green Room Assistance (Backstage):

Assist speakers, models, showcasers, performers, and host. Making sure they have what they need and are prepared for their slot in the program.

Help with serving refreshments, managing lines, and ensuring that food and beverages are available and replenished as needed.

Photography and Videography: Capture candid moments and highlights of the event to document the experience and create content for social media and future promotions.
* Previous experience is mandatory.

Up rigg, Cleanup and Breakdown:

Assist in cleaning up the event space after the event concludes, including packing up materials, clearing tables, and ensuring the venue is left in good condition.

Remember, volunteers play a crucial role in creating a positive and memorable experience for both women and children attending the event and crew. Your efforts contribute to the overall success of the event and the fulfillment of its objectives.
